Using the Driver and Profile Download Manager application, you can view the list of the latest media profiles available for ONYX printer drivers. You can select a custom set of profiles to download and then easily install them into your ONYX product. The manager application also offers the ability to get printer driver updates. You can install the Driver and Profile Download Manager on any system running the most current version of ONYX, or on other Windows 2000 or XP Pro systems connected to the Internet. The .PrnInst files that are downloaded can only be used with the latest ONYX Version. When using the Driver and Profile Download Manager, the software validates your key before the download commences. Windows Vista and 7 users: Downloading the Driver and Profile Download Manager: 1. Go to www.onyxgfx.com and click the Download tab. 2. Click Drivers & Profiles button. 3. Click Download Now to get ONYX Driver and Profile Download Manager. 4. Click Save File. 5. Download the file to your PC. 6. Double-click the file to begin the installation. 7. After completing the installation select the Driver and Profile Download Manager menu item accessible from the Windows Start menu. Using the Driver and Profile Download Manager: 1. Select your version of the ONYX product. 2. Select the printer manufacturer, printer model and media provider. 3. Check the boxes for the profiles you would like to download. Check the media group configuration item to select all the media profiles for that group at once. 4. Click Download. 5. Select your destination folder. 6. Enter your key #. The key number is validated and the Printer Installation file is saved to your computer. The downloaded .PrnInst file can be used to install a new printer or to import profiles.
