How to Update Order Status for an Estimate
Order Status can be updated for Estimates to help keep them moving forward and to better organize all Estimates that have been created.

Explanations of Order Statuses for Estimates
Order Status |
Description |
---|---|
New |
This is the default Order Status when an Estimate is created. When the Order Status is New, it means that the Estimate has not been issued, invalidated, rejected, or accepted. |
On Hold |
When the Order Status is On Hold, it means that the Estimate is currently on hold and no major action affecting status for the Estimate can be executed. |
In Progress |
When the Order Status is In Progress, it means the Estimate has been issued, invalidated, or rejected. |
Ready to Convert |
When the Order Status is Ready to Convert, it means the Estimate has been accepted and is ready to be converted into an Order. |
(1) Navigate to Estimates
(2) Select the Estimate you wish to update
(3) Navigate to the Status tab within the Estimate
(4) Note the current Order Status within the Status section
(5) Update Order Status to the desired status
