How to Set Up Price per SQFT Pricing for a Print Job

Use default Price per SQFT

Determines whether or not you would like to use the default Job Target Price per SQFT value that is set up within the global Job Target Price per SQFT ticket item settings (Configuration > Ticket items editor > Print job/Non-print job items > Job Target Price per SQFT).

Price per SQFT

The desired price per SQFT for the job. This value is used with the Print Area value to calculate the Price per Job.

If Use default Price per SQFT is enabled, this value will be read only and will use the value set within the global Job Target Price per SQFT ticket item settings.

If Use default Price per SQFT is disabled, you will be able to enter a custom value specific to this job.

If you want to establish multiple price per SQFT values based on the size of the job, you can do this by setting up size discounts. Refer to the How to Set Up Discounts for a Print Job/Non-Print Job guide to learn how to do so.

Note: This value only controls the target price per SQFT for the job. Other factors involving job pricing may affect the actual price per SQFT. The Job Actual Price per SQFT item will reveal what the actual price per SQFT is for the job.

Double-Sided Multiplier

The value that is multiplied by the Job Target Price per SQFT value when the Double Sided setting is enabled for a job. The Job Actual Price per SQFT value then reflects what the new price per SQFT will be.

Example: If I have a Job Target Price per SQFT value of $1.00 for a job and a Double-Sided Multiplier of 2, then if I enable the Double Sided option within Job Details then the Job Actual Price per SQFT value will be $2.00 (2X the original $1.00 value)
