How to Change the Default Printer Settings for Print Jobs

Default Substrate

The default Substrate selection for the Print Job.

Note that you may only select a Substrate that has been selected within Allowed Substrates.

Default Printer

The default Printer selection for the Print Job.

Note that you may only select a Printer that has been selected within Allowed Printers.

Default Media Group

The default Media Group selection for the Print Job.

Note that this selection is controlled by the selected Default Printer. You may only select a Default Media Group that is compatible with the Default Printer.

Default Media Profile

The default Media Profile selection for the Print Job.

Note that this selection is controlled by the selected Default Media Group. You may only select a Default Media Profile that is compatible with the Default Media Group.

Default Print Mode

The default Print Mode selection for the Print Job.

Note that this selection is controlled by the selected Default Media Profile. You may only select a Default Print Mode that is compatible with the Default Media Profile

Default Quickset

The default Quickset selection for the Print Job.

Note that this selection is controlled by the selected Default Printer. You may only select a Default Quickset that is compatible with the Default Printer.

Allowed Substrates

The Substrates that are allowed to be selected for the Print Job.

Note that they are segmented by type (Roll or Sheet). The Substrates you select here will dictate which types of Printers can be selected within Allowed Printers. (Example - If you only select Substrates that are the Roll type, you cannot select a Flatbed Printer within Allowed Printers).

Allowed Printers

The Printers that are allowed to be selected for the Print Job.

Note that they are segmented by type (Flatbed, Hybrid, Roll-to-Roll). You can drill down your selections to determine which Media Groups, Media Profiles, Print Modes, and Quicksets you would like to allow for selection .
