An empty filter (a filter without color correction tools) is automatically created for a job when it is opened in Job Editor.

To create an additional new filter:

1. Select File (Figure 1) > Filter Manager > New. This opens "Filter Manager" dialog (Figure 2).
2. Type in a name for the filter.
3. Click [Close] button to close the "Filter Manager" dialog.

 

To apply the new Filter:

1. Select the [Color Correction] tab.
2. Click [Filter] button (Figure 1).
3. Select the appropriate Filter in the [Job Settings] area (Figure 3).

Resetting a filter causes all the color correction tools for that filter to be removed. To reset a filter:

1. Select the [Color Correction] tab.
2. Click [Reset Filter] button (Figure 1).

To set a filter as the current filter (the filter that will be applied to the image during processing and printing):

1. Select the [Color Correction tab] tab.
2. Click [Filter] button (Figure 1).
3. Select the appropriate Filter in the [Job Settings] area (Figure 3).

4. Click [OK].

To view multiple filters simultaneously for a job:

1. Split the preview into two pieces by clicking and dragging the splitter bar located directly above the right scroll bar in the preview window (Figure 4).

2. If desired, split the preview into four pieces by clicking and dragging the splitter bar located directly before the bottom scroll bar in the preview window (Figure 5).
3. Select one of the preview windows and choose a filter for that preview by right-clicking the word "Filter" (located above the preview), and choosing the filter you want to apply to that preview (Figure 6).
