Color Measurement Devices measure a specific color of an ink patch. There are several different types of devices: Colorimeters, Spectrophotometers, Densitometers, and so forth. Each is suited to a specific color measurement. What type of Color Measurement Device should I use? Although there are many devices which perform a range of functions, for Media Manager you need only two: a Densitometer for measuring the density of a color patch, and a Colorimeter for measuring the amount of color in a color path.
