CroppingCutting or manipulating an image to eliminate unwanted detail along the top, bottom, or sides of an image. Cropped images in RIP-Queue are square or rectangular in shape. defines an area of your image that will not be printed. The [Crop] (Figure 1) in the Advanced Quick Sets Options allows you to automatically crop any job that uses that Quick Set.

NOTE: Before using this option, make sure that all images using this Quick SetA group of settings that is applied to images to create jobs in an efficient manner. should be cropped in the same way. You can also manually crop your jobs in Job Editor.

To use the Crop option:

1. Open the Advanced Quick Set Options by clicking Edit Quick Sets icon > Edit > Advanced > Crop or click Configure Printer icon > Quick Sets tab > [New ] or [Edit] button > Advanced > Crop from the tree.
2. Click the [Apply Cropping] option, and set Left, Right, Top, and Bottom crop values by using the sliders or entering values into the appropriate fields.
