Holds

RIP-Queue uses several types of [Holds] to delay or interrupt the printing of an image. A job that is on [Hold] will not print until the [Hold] is removed.

The most common types of [Holds] include the following:

Wait for MediaCollapsed

The [Wait for Media] Hold indicates that the media for the job does not match the media for the printer. Before you can release this hold, you must change the media for either the printer or the job so that they match. See Change Media and Placement Dialog for more information.

Hold for Operator

The [Hold for Operator] Hold prevents RIP-Queue from automatically processing and printing your jobs. This lets you review and modify your job before printing.

Removing a Hold:

For all Holds except the [Wait for Media] Hold, you can remove the [Hold] by clicking on the Hold icon.
