Printing an Image
Depending on the type of workflow you prefer, you can set RIP-Queue to print manually or automatically. The Placement option of the printer determines how and when jobs are printed. To set the Placement option: 1. In the RIP-Queue, highlight the printer you use and click the icon of the [Current Media and Page Size] and [Placement] located on the right side. These button open the “Change Media and Page Size" and “Placement Strategy” dialogs. 2. Select a media profile that matches the material loaded in the printer. Set the [Media] to the name of the material in theprinter. (If you do not see the media profile for the material in the printer, choose one that is a similar type.) 3. Under [Page Size], select the correct page size on the printer. 4. Change [Placement] to Group Jobs Together or Conserve Media using drop-down arrow. Default setting is set to Print Jobs individually. It means ONYX 12 will automatically start printing when the job has finished ripping. 5. Click [OK] when you have finished. To print an image: 1. Click [Open] icon in the Toolbar or go to File > Open. 2. Browse to your image and click [Open]. 3. After the job has ripped, highlight the printer and click [Print Now] button on the right side of the RIP-Queue. If your job is not printed, check the following: Is your physical printer on-line and ready? Does your physical printer have the same media as set in RIP-Queue (as shown in the Printers list)? Is your job on hold? Have you tried pressing the [Print Now] button? To stop a print, select the printer you want to stop, and click the [Stop] button ( )

5. Click [OK] when you have finished.

To print an image:

1. Click [Open] icon in the Toolbar or go to File > Open.

2. Browse to your image and click [Open].

3. After the job has ripped, highlight the printer and click [Print Now] button on the right side of the RIP-Queue.

If your job is not printed, check the following:

Is your physical printer on-line and ready?
Does your physical printer have the same media as set in RIP-Queue (as shown in the Printers list)?
Is your job on hold?
Have you tried pressing the [Print Now] button?

To stop a print, select the printer you want to stop, and click the [Stop] button ( )
