Cutters
The Cutter option in the "Preferences" screen allows you to manage your cutters and control how to cut jobs (Figure 1). To access the [Cutter] options, click Preferences icon from the main toolbar and then click Cutters icon on the left side toolbar You can use the following [Cutter] options: Device Management [Device Management] lists all cutters that you have selected. It also allows you to [Add], [ Delete], and [Configure] cutters. Add Cutter — Click this button to add a cutter. Select a cutter you want to use from the drop-down list. If you want, you can change the display name of your cutter by typing a new name in the [Display Name] field. If your cutter is not available, select [Generic Cutter]. Delete Cutter— Click this button to remove a cutter. The highlighted cutter is the cutter that will be removed. Configure— Use the following instructions to configure your cutter: From the “Cutter” screen (Figure 1), click the [Configure] button. This opens the “Configure Cutter" dialog (Figure 2). Under [Port Settings], select the port you use. Click [Setup] button to select your port settings. In the [Cut Job Settings] area, you can [Add], [Delete], and [Configure] your settings. These settings control your cutter specific settings like knife pressure and speed. NOTE: Because the settings for each cutter are different, refer the user manual for your cutter for assistance configuring your Port Settings and Device Settings. Application Settings [Application Settings] allows you to set how to cut your jobs. You can set any of the following options: Sort Cut Paths — This option makes your cutter follow Cut Paths in a logical order from top left to bottom right. If this option is not selected, your cutter will follow Cut Paths in the order in which they were created. Submit Cut Jobs to CUT-Server— This option sends cut jobs to the Cut-Server after you click the [Print & Cut] button. Cut Path Prefix — This option determines the prefix associated with your Cut Path. If the prefix does not match the prefix selected for your cutter, your cutter will not be able to locate the Cut Path. If you modified this setting, make sure the changed setting matches with your cutter. Cut Path Prefixes. This option supports Multiple Cut Path Prefixes. Multiple Cut Path Prefixes can be entered in two different ways: Type the names of the cut path prefixes in the field. They should be separated by the ';' character. Use Edit Cut Path Prefixes dialog by clicking the button. Then check the Cut Path Prefix that you want to use. Cutters

You can use the following [Cutter] options:

Device Management

[Device Management] lists all cutters that you have selected. It also allows you to [Add], [ Delete], and [Configure] cutters.

Add Cutter — Click this button to add a cutter. Select a cutter you want to use from the drop-down list. If you want, you can change the display name of your cutter by typing a new name in the [Display Name] field. If your cutter is not available, select [Generic Cutter].
Delete Cutter— Click this button to remove a cutter. The highlighted cutter is the cutter that will be removed.
Configure— Use the following instructions to configure your cutter:

Cut Path Prefixes.

This option supports Multiple Cut Path Prefixes. Multiple Cut Path Prefixes can be entered in two different ways:

Type the names of the cut path prefixes in the field. They should be separated by the ';' character.
Use Edit Cut Path Prefixes dialog by clicking the button. Then check the Cut Path Prefix that you want to use. (Figure 1 )
